Team member roles let you grant the right level of access to each person on your team. Instead of sharing a single login, you invite colleagues and assign roles that determine what they can view, create and change — so engineers can manage buckets while auditors get read-only visibility.
Role-based access control for webhooks
Webhook Relay's teams feature lets you invite members to a shared account. Member roles add fine-grained permissions on top, following the principle of least privilege:
- Admins can manage billing, invite or remove members, change roles and configure every resource in the account.
- Members can create and manage buckets, inputs, outputs and forwarding rules, but cannot change billing or team membership.
- Read-only collaborators can view configuration, logs and webhook traffic for monitoring or auditing without the ability to make changes.
This separation keeps day-to-day operators productive while protecting sensitive settings from accidental or unauthorized changes.
